COMPANION POLICY AND RULES TO BE FOLLOWED

To assist the patient during treatment; The patient has the right to have a companion, to the extent permitted by the legislation and the facilities of our hospital and to the extent required by the patient's health condition, subject to the approval of the doctor responsible for the treatment. How and when to exercise this right must be carried out in accordance with the procedures and principles determined in our hospital. We would like to emphasize that you should help us in this matter for the sake of your patient's health and that you should accompany your patient in accordance with the procedures and principles determined within the framework of our hospital's companion policy.
-The need for a companion is decided by the patient's doctor.
-A companion card is given to the patient's relative who comes to the service. The companions must wear their cards visibly on them as long as they are in our hospital as a companion. The companion card cannot be used by anyone else.
-The companion card is checked by security guards at entrance and exit.
-Service nurses will be informed of companion changes.
-For the privacy of our patients, male companions cannot stay in patient rooms where female patients are present.
-A companion cannot be kept in intensive care units.
- Companions will not take their patients out of the service or change their beds without the request of the relevant physician or nurse.
- Companions will not bring food or drink to the patient, and will not give any food or drink to the patient without consulting the doctor or nurse.
-Companions must comply with hospital rules. In case of violation, the accompanying person's status will not be accepted.
-Companions must keep hospital belongings and materials tidy and clean. The companion who damages hospital property is obliged to compensate for the damage.
-Attendants can use the companion chairs in the patient rooms to rest.
-Companions should inform the nurse if there is any problem with their patient.
-Companions are required to leave the patient's rooms when necessary (during visiting hours, when the patient will be operated on, etc.).
-In order to provide you with a peaceful environment, patients and their relatives; It is essential not to talk loudly or make noise in the patient room and service corridors. In addition, the televisions in your rooms should be used in a way that does not disturb others; It must be closed during doctor's visit hours and after 22:00.
-Do not bring children under the age of 12 to the hospital to avoid risking their health.
-Relatives of patients can contact their patients on the telephones in their rooms by dialing 04143186 (room number) at the beginning of their room number.
-Companions will not use tobacco (Law No. 4207) and alcoholic substances within the hospital.
-Companions will benefit from our hospital's food services without paying a separate fee by showing their companion cards.
-Our companion meal hours are: Morning: 06:30–07:30, Lunch: 11:30–12:00, Evening: 17:30–18:00
-The number of companions is limited to one person.
