Training on 'Adverse Effect System and Pharmacovigilance' was given by our hospital's pharmacist. In the training, it was mentioned that the Adverse Effect System plays a major role in detecting the undesirable side effects of drugs and is a system used to manage them. It was emphasized that this system plays a critical role in increasing the safety of our patients.
Pharmacovigilance, on the other hand, provides integrity to the processes applied to monitor the safety of drugs and evaluate side effects. The training was concluded by emphasizing that this process is an important step towards protecting the health of both individuals and society by constantly monitoring the effectiveness and safety of drugs.
