Training on Tuberculosis (TB) was given to hospital staff at Bozova Mehmet - Enver Yıldırım State Hospital.
"Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It usually affects the lungs, but it can also affect other organs. It is transmitted through breathing and can cause serious health problems, especially in individuals with weak immune systems.
Symptoms of tuberculosis may include prolonged cough, blood in sputum, fatigue, weight loss, fever and night sweats. Early diagnosis and treatment can control the spread of the disease and significantly improve the health of the individual.
Tuberculosis education provides us with information about the symptoms of the disease, ways of transmission, prevention methods and treatment options. These trainings help prevent the spread of the disease by increasing awareness among healthcare personnel and the general society. It also aims to create an informed society to ensure that tuberculosis is controlled through early diagnosis and effective treatment.
Knowing about tuberculosis and receiving education on it is important both to protect our own health and to prevent the spread of the disease in society. "We can all act together on this important issue with knowledge, awareness and cautious behavior for a healthy society."
